thick so you can see whenever you turn the nail to the side you’ll always be able to see that little that little hump / that little bump that is apex and it’s not supposed to be right at the cuticle do not put your apex right at the cuticle that is not where it’s supposed to go it goes like more if I could I know everybody’s fingers are different but just to give you an example of maybe where it should be on your finger or somebody else’s finger is where like the fat the fatty part of
linked and trying to make it as square as possible I’m sorry I’m a little bit out of frame whenever I was doing this it’s kind of hard to record doing your own nails and doing it at the same time and that’s why I haven’t done it because I knew that I’ll be out of frame sometimes but you get the point I’m gonna keep your file straight don’t curve it in if you curve it in you’re gonna make a coffin shape and if you don’t want a coffin shape don’t curb your file in if you want a tapered square or square
I mean yeah this basically what I use is a bit for and then I’ll go back in with my sanding band and then just smooth everything around the cuticle again because I want the cuticle area to look as seamless and flesh as possible and yeah okay so now we’re gonna start with the e-filing so whenever I do my own nails I for sure have to e-file because it can get a little bit on the thicker side because I just kind of get a little carried away but you can see I’m really just focusing on the cuticle area because that’s usually where I get like a lot of acrylic just built
the nail to like you know germs and it can cause infection if you cut too much if you don’t cut it right so I really just try to play it safe and just cut off just enough to where it doesn’t look like there’s a bunch of skin hanging off if there is any at all so you can just see here I’m just cutting them and mind you the cuticle nippers
